Avery's '07-'08 Series at Trinity-on-Main
Avery Ensemble is very pleased to announce that it has been invited to be chamber-ensemble-in-residence at Trinity-on-Main in New Britain, Connecticut, where each season we will present a series of concerts beginning in fall 2007. This season we have decided to focus on the tradition of classical music as it traveled to and then evolved in America. This is partly for very personal reasons: several members of Avery Ensemble are themselves immigrants to America and will be applying for American citizenship this year. What better way to mark that event than to perform a series of concerts celebrating the musical roots and fruit of their new home. Please join us!

Trinity-on-Main
Trinity-on-Main is a stunningly beautiful and acoustically superb former Methodist church that was rescued from planned demolition by a dedicated group of area residents who recognized both its historical and aesthetic importance. After several years of hard work, garnering both community and state-wide support, they have turned TOM into an exciting center for the arts and one of Connecticut’s cultural jewels. Avery is thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to TOM’s continued development as a world-class performance space.
